Now available to the public on Amazon.co.jp is this 188 page Special Edition publication on Hakkoryu Jujutsu from BAB Japan, a publishing and production company based in Tokyo which specializes in Japanese martial arts. BAB, whose name stands for “Budo and Bujutsu”, has been publishing the monthly Budo magazine ‘Hiden’ for 18 years and often features Hakkoryu-related articles. This first time Special Edition is fully illustrated and contains much technical coverage.

An English edition is currently being discussed; its publication date has not yet been announced.

For Hakkoryu members only, Sandaikichu Shihan Joseph Miller has arranged for Nidai Soke Okuyama to personally sign copies of the Japanese softcover book during a meeting at Shihan Miller’s home on 7 September 2014. The signed copy will have the same ¥1,700 price as Amazon, plus an additional ¥1,300 should be included to cover EMS four-day shipping outside Japan.
