To all individuals holding Hakkoryu Menkyo Shihan licensing and above:

Previously, annual Shihan dues were paid on or before the anniversary of one’s original Shihan date.

Starting immediately, in order to streamline the annual Shihan dues/renewal process for Hombu Dojo, the dues deadline is being changed to February 1 each year for everyone, meaning payments should be received by Hombu before the end of January from all Shihan, regardless of your Shihan date.

To be fair to those who have already submitted their 2016 dues and those who received Menkyo Shihan in 2016, you will not be required to submit dues again until the February 1, 2018 deadline. If you were prepared to pay your 2016 dues in the next few months, please wait and send them in January 2017 before the February 1, 2017 deadline instead, to make processing easier in Japan.

• Preferred, Complete Mailing Address

As before, new Shihan cards will be mailed to you directly from Hombu Dojo.
