1. Use this link to purchase a Logan Express bus ticket to the city of Framingham. This gives you a low cost ride closer to the Taikai/Hotel locations. Once there use a taxi, Uber/Lyft service or pre-arranged pickup from another Taikai attendee for the rest of the trip.

2. Use this link to make online reservations with Knight’s Limousine Service for nonstop door-to-door transportation to and from the Taikai/Hotel locations and the airport.

3. As usual, a variety of rental car services are available at the airport as well.

4. Feel free to explore other transportation options on your own.

Also, see below for Taikai cost changes beginning April 1st. For registration, the sooner the better!

This is the first time the Hakkoryu Soke will be hosted in Massachusetts, USA. Participation is open to the public as well as all students of Hakkoryu.

Following the weekend of training, Hakkoryu Shihan, Kaiden, Sandaikichu, Renshi and Koho Shiatsu Igaku Jikiden Sessions will be held July 30 – August 5.

All registered Hakkoryu students, Mudansha and Yudansha, are eligible for and encouraged to attend the Koho Shiatsu sessions as the introductory training in meridian theory is essential to deeper understanding of the jujutsu, and fulfills the requirement for the individual to have completed the course prior to receiving Menkyo Shihan.

The Taikai is at no cost to those attending the Jikiden sessions for licensing. For all others the Taikai fee begins at $300 (see above for fee schedule). Shihan: bring two or more students, your fee is waived!
